Work out what Fresha costs you, from its own price list.
Fresha’s published UK rates, with VAT added so they compare fairly with Mintbook’s VAT-inclusive prices. Start from an example, then put in your own numbers.
- Subscription
- £14.95 a month for one team member, or £9.95 per member on a team, plus VAT
- New-client fee
- 20% of a new marketplace client’s first appointment, minimum £4, plus VAT
- Card payments
- 1.19% + 20p in person, 1.4% + 25p online
Fresha, from published rates
£364a month
£4,367 a year, or 3.7% of about £9,900 monthly takings.
Mintbook Team, same card payments
At these numbers, Mintbook Team costs £436 a year more than Fresha. Choose it for your own website and client relationship, not for a saving.
Fresha overtakes this Mintbook plan at about 37 new marketplace clients a month.
Estimates only. Fresha publishes prices without VAT, so 20% VAT is added to its subscription, fees and add-on to compare with Mintbook’s VAT-inclusive prices. Card fees are shown as published. Not included: texts beyond Fresha’s free allowance, Tap to Pay’s extra 7p, other add-ons, and Fresha’s unpublished fee cap on higher-value services.
Checked against Fresha’s pricing page on 15 September 2026. Worked examples are on the Fresha fee calculator page.

Good to know.
The things owners ask us most before they switch. Anything else, just ask.
How much does Mintbook cost?
Mintbook is £149 a month on Solo, £249 a month on Team and £349 a month on Growth, and all prices include VAT. Every plan carries 0% commission on bookings, so every penny your clients pay for their appointments stays with you.
Are there any setup fees or commission?
No setup fee and no commission on any booking, ever. You pay one flat monthly fee that covers everything in your plan. Leave any time and your site, your brand and your full client list come with you.
Do I own my site and my data?
Yes. Your brand, your client list and every booking belong to you. We build, host and run the site for you, and the owner dashboard includes client data export and erasure tools, so you can take a copy of your data whenever you want.
What happens to my existing clients?
They come with you. Export your client list from your current booking system as a CSV file and we import the names, emails and phone numbers into Mintbook, so your regulars can book with you on your own site from the day you launch.
How long until I am live?
Usually a few days from our first call. We set up your services, prices, opening hours and team, you check the site and ask for any changes you want, and then we launch it. You do not need any technical knowledge at any stage.
What is included in the monthly fee?
Every plan includes your branded booking site and owner dashboard, automatic reminders, card on file with no-show protection, hosting, support and updates. Team adds staff calendars and team booking. Growth adds SEO, AEO and GEO work, quarterly optimisation and priority support.
Can I leave?
Yes, any time, with no lock-in. Your brand, your client list and your booking history belong to you, and you can export your client data from the dashboard before you go. We would rather you stayed because it works, not because you are stuck.
